The marketing director of a major telecommunication group retained
us to manage a project aiming at launching a new offer to counter
upcoming competition threats.

The mission
We analyzed the clients’ needs and expectations; anticipated
the competitive reactions; assessed the technological scenarios;
proposed a 2 years launch roadmap; defined the launch of a tactical
first offer within 12 months.
The main difficulty
To propose and drive an operational plan in an uncertain environment,
to take position against the competition without compromising the
existing revenues. To preserve the middle term technological options
while proposing a first offer in the short term.
The team
A consultant-entrepreneur (HEC option entrepreneurs, 4 years of
experience) undertook this project with the support of an analyst
and coached by a partner. From an external point of view, a manager
challenged the team on a regular basis. |
